Red Head Cove






Red Head Cove is located on the northwestern tip of the Avalon Peninsula and is a place that I have only visited once. I remember that the wharf wasn't in great shape when I was there in 2003. I wonder if there have been improvements made since then?

The rocks are red, and are a part of the Signal Hill Group of rocks. You can't see them clearly in these photos, but the rocks are very similar to those found on Signal Hill and Cape Spear.

You can see that the houses are built along a steep river valley.
