Making Butter

Another interesting thing I photographed at Ross Farm Museum was making butter. It was difficult to make photos without including the onlookers. When the butter was ready everyone had the opportunity to taste it on home-made biscuits.

The two women in the first photo are churning the cream and the lady in the second image is washing buttermilk from the freshly-churned butter. She had to wash the butter several times before it was ready to eat. The third photo shows the butter and biscuits, both of which were delicious!

I uploaded eighteen photos from this series to: http://lanephotography.com/ross_farm/Making_Butter/making_butter.htm
