I visit Salmon Cove Beach often to photograph the sand, waves, sea cliffs and people. Today's images show the waves breaking in the shallow water just off shore then washing up on the sand. Salmon Cove is located on the Baccalieu Trail in Conception Bay. The scenes look peaceful, but the abundance of sand is evidence that the sea is eroding rocks and changing them to sand as a result of the constant forces of the ocean.
