Muir Winery

Muir Winery

The Muir Winery is located in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia and the weather there has to be much different than here in Newfoundland and Labrador. Rows upon rows of grape bushes lined the hills and from what I could see from the road, it looks like there will be a bumper crop.

I remember when I visited Tangled Garden (not too far from the winery) around the end of June last year, their red currants, black currants and gooseberries were almost ripe whereas ours were hardly started to grow here in Holyrood. This indicates that they have a longer growing season with warmer temperatures.

Photos of the Day are for sale as stock photographs
and photographic enlargements.
They can also be purchased as slide shows
and/or wallpapers/screensavers.
