Lynx

Lynx

Lynx are large cats that roam wild in Newfoundland and Labrador. Standing nearly 2 feet at the shoulders and almost 4 feet long, it is an animal I wouldn't want to deal with in the wild. Though I saw one only once in my life, I have often see their large paw prints in the snow.

I have seen lynx a few times at the Salmonier Nature Park but mostly they are hidden out of sight.
