Walking 3

Walking 3

Not only is walking good exercise, it gives you the opportunity to experience some of the beauty and sounds that nature has to offer. Newfoundland and Labrador has many excellent walking trails which are frequented by both residents and visitors.

Todays photos show a couple walking along the rocky beach in Holyrood, a small group of people walking along the beach under the cliffs in Job's Cove, Conception Bay, a young woman walking on Salmon Cove Sands beach, a couple enjoying the sights in St. John's Harbour, people on walking trail near the Manuels River in Conception Bay South, a group enjoying the view of Corner Brook, others taking in the scenery in Lark Harbour and a couple exploring Sulphur Mountain in Banff National Park.

Some of these people are enjoying leisurely walks, while others are serious walkers who are getting a good workout.  Either way, the walk is good for them and they are enjoying being outside.
