Clotheslines 1

Clotheslines 1

As promised, today I am beginning a new Clotheslines Series and will share 10 images per day for the next week or so.  I don't always remember where I took the photos of clotheslines, but when I do, I'll let you know as well.

My photos of clotheslines have been very popular and have received international attention.  I have been interviewed by radio hosts all across the country and receive emails asking questions about everything to do with clotheslines.  I assume it is because in many places across North America, it is against the law to hang clothes to dry outside.

The first photo was taken in the Norman's Cove area along the Osprey Trail.  The colourful clothes with a blue building in the background were photographed in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. The fourth photo was taken near Bryant's Cove, Conception Bay. The image of a clothesline next to a wood pile was taken near Salmon Cove, Conception Bay.  The rest of the photos were taken on Pilley's Island in the Green Bay area.

As you view the photos in this series, note where the clotheslines are located.  Some are close to houses, which makes a lot of sense. Others are located in more natural settings.

Feel free to share today's photos with family and friends.

Photos of the Day are for sale as:
