Holyrood 11

Holyrood 11

On August 1, 2007 Tropical Storm Chantal dumped a huge amount of rain on the Avalon Peninsula causing quite a bit of flooding.  I drove around Holyrood and made photos of the rivers and streets where there was flooding.  If you decide to check the photos on my Blog today you will see how much water there was in the rivers and it will be easy to understand why rivers overflowed their banks and created new "rivers" by washing away driveways.

Feel free to share today's photos with family and friends.
