Winter 4

Winter 4

Today's photos were taken on Kodachrome slide film in Central Newfoundland when I lived there in the 70s.

The first photo was taken at Beothuck Park after a snowfall.  The next two show Goodyear's Dam on the Exploits River, not too far from the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor.

Yesterday I shared a couple of photos of Second Falls at Leeches Brook.  The next four photos show large icicles at the top of First Falls - a couple of hundred feet downriver.

I shot the second last photo from a train during a special run five years after passenger trains stopped running on the island of Newfoundland  in 1969.  This photo was used as the cover of Photo Life, a national magazine, in 1983.

The last photo was taken near the Exploits River in Grand Falls-Windsor.

Feel free to share with family and friends.
