Tulips

I look forward to the brightly coloured tulips blooming in my yard. They add the first colours in Spring. I went back through my photos to check the dates of first tulips. Following are the dates of the first tulip photos of each year since moving into the house in the fall of 2007.

• 2008 - May 29
• 2009 - May 17
• 2010 - May 22
• 2011 - May 23
• 2012 - May 15
• 2013 - May 25
• 2014 - May 24
• 2015 - May 26

As you can see, the days vary by up to two weeks and this year is one of the latest. There was a frost warning across the province this morning, but thankfully, we didn't get any frost here.
