Wood Stork

Wood Stork

The wood stork was classified as a Threatened Species in 2014 so I consider myself lucky to have photographed them in Florida on several occasions.  I spotted this one trying to swallow a fish and made a few photos .  After 6 minutes it successfully swallowed the big fish.  I think that the reason it took so long was because the fish was already dead when the bird found it.
