Labadee, Haiti 7

Labadee, Haiti 7

This is the last of my photos from Labadee.  The photos of the dancers were taken as I returned to the ship.  They were entertaining the cruisers who were returning to the ship just before the deadline to be aboard.  The images of the parasailing were taken from my balcony aboard the ship.

As I stated on Day 1 of this series, it was an eerie feeling walking around in a country that has been devastated twice in less than 10 years.  At least, the people living near Labadee have work because of the cruise ships that visit the port and are not as poor as people in other parts of the island.  As well, this part of the island wasn’t affected as much by the hurricane.
