Pond











Pond

During a hike in July 2005, I photographed plants living in and around a small pond.  Lily pads, flowers and insects were among my photographic subjects that day.

Look closely at the lily pad and you will see a spider, beetle and black fly enjoying the sunny day.  A dragon fly was perched on a plant and appeared to be eating another dragon fly. And, a small butterfly takes a break on a blue flag iris.
