Dandelions















Dandelions


Dandelions have finally bloomed around my yard and are adding much needed colour after all winter and spring.  For ants, bees and other insects, dandelions produce early and necessary food.  Many Newfoundlanders and Labradorians eat dandelion leaves and a few make dandelion jelly from the yellow petals of the flower.  I have made the jelly a few times and it is delicious!
